A brand new year always brings a sense of reflection and a host goals, resolutions or of things to do.
This year has a sense of renewal. I have feelings of release and letting go. To peel back all the trimmings and create space and awareness.
I want to connect back to the source, the earth and all that nature has to offer.
I want to run free.
Whilst contemplating all of this through this month (so far), it occurred to me just how much we are conditioned we have become, I have become.
It’s the closing of one year, and the start of a new, so yes this is a perfect time to take stock of where we are and what we have accomplished.
However, in this taking stock, rather than the conditioned more, more, more…. it feels really nice to acknowledge all the amazing people, things and life that I already have.
The need to achieve more, want more, do more for me, all comes from a place of feelings of lack.
Not “fit enough”, “smart enough”, “thin enough”, “happy enough”, “good enough” … “enough enough enough”.
That innate need to belong and fit in with the crowd. The conditioning of life.
I am starting to run free
So in my process, I have acknowledged my good;
I am abundant. I have many pleasures in my life and so many beautiful people.
The clearance within my personal and business life has began. From website consolidation to a good old clear out at home.
There is something really releasing about an early “spring clean”. It’s cathartic to say the least.
Nature is calling
There is such a pull for me at this moment in time to connect with nature. My thirst of knowledge is currently unquenchable.
Interestingly, I have just this moment delved into my tree ogham bag to see which tree offers me wisdom at this time.
I picked the elder.
The elder represents transformation, renewal, regeneration and has the energy of a wise old woman.
The tree ogham is used by those that who want to communicate with trees. It follows the Celtic system used by the ancient druids to encode their wisdom. It enables you to understand the underlying energy and spiritual guidance that each tree has to show us, as well as giving us guidance on ways to communicate with trees as an aid to our own spiritual development and healing.
They says that there are no coincidences.
I have endeavoured to attach this to mail chimp so that it can find its way to your email inbox. At this moment in time, I have no idea how this will work.
If this works successfully, you will gain an email monthly that will give you snippets of each journey note, should you prefer to simply receive the quarterly newsletter, please email me and let me know and I will amend accordingly
